When I was in elementary school one of the camps I was in would come here, but I specifically remember one trip. It was wonderful. The lazy river was relaxing, though the paint was fading. I remember that I went on a slide, but it can't remember which one, or what happened. I absolutely LOVED the paddle boats, or whatever you'd like to call them. But there was one instance I will always cherish. I was at the snack shack throwing my Dip 'n' Dots away, when I saw a few pairs of eyes staring at me from inside of the bin. I was startled, but I looked back in to make sure I wasn't crazy, and there they were. I cod see with the small sliver of light shining through that they were a family of raccoons! I told one of my counselors, who told a few more counselors, who told the staff, and somehow the word got out to my fellow campers! There was suddenly a very large group of people surrounding the snack shack! I'll always think of it as an achievement that I started such a "riot". Even though there were raccoons, it's an outside waterpark. Also, the staff handled it wonderfully, making sure no one came too close, and safely and carefully got the family of raccoons to come running out and into the woods. They might have called animals control, but I can't remember. All in all, I have only positive memories of the place.
I saw it in the movie and knew I had been there because of the snack shack, monkey slides, and paddle boats.
Fun Fact: Pioneer Waterland & Dry Fun Park is the Waterpark that was filmed in the Netflix original movie, "Little Horrors".
This place is so fun for the family, we have come the last two summers. It's low priced with lots to do. Tickets are cheaper online. Buy ahead. Sand volleyball, teether ball, water pool, water activities, large water slides, go-karts, batting cages, miniature golf, basketball, lazy river, so much fun! Gift shop and good food
It's a cute place that time seems to have forgotten... and it unfortunatly shows. Where as the water slides, lazy river and pool are fun... they could use some maintenance and updating especially leading up to the larger green and yellow slides. The stair case was quite weathered, paint peeling, rust visible and questionable dips in the stairs and walkway. Still there are plenty of activities for the family and a great way to cool down.
It could have been way better if they had more employees to play monsters for the Halloween season. Wasn't scared and felt like it was a waste of money to walk through the woods in the dark. I could have done that at the end of my street. The zombie lazer tag was a good idea but u had to pay extra. The man made corn maze was to opened with barely any scary monsters and those they did have we saw coming. No one followed us or tried to get close or act scary at all. I even told them my friends name but they didn't get the idea to use it to freak him out. Seriously disappointed with the haunted experience. I wonder if the people who worked it ever went to a haunted house.
Friendly staff, great food, wonderful time for kids. The management has changed over the last year and things are running smoothly. It is great for kids that want to swim or just hang out. The food is good. The lifeguards definitely know what they're doing! Amazing overall.
